POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an assault in New Barnet left a man with serious facial injuries.
Officers believe the victim, a 45 year old man from Barnet, was attacked with a sharp object.
The incident happened at around 3pm on Monday January 31, outside Barnet Food and Wine, Greenhill Parade, in Great North Road.
A 27 year old man, also from Barnet, has been arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
CID officer DC Matthew Bennett has asked witnesses to contact the police with information.
