CAKES, buns and éclairs were sold at a care home in Potters Bar yesterday, Monday, to raise money for charity.
Elderly residents at Cooperscroft Care Home, in Coopers Lane Road, helped bake treats for friends, family and parishioners of neighbouring Causeway Free Church.
The event formed part of national campaign called Time for a Cuppa? by Dementia UK, which aims to improve the quality of life for all people affected by the condition.
Resident June Mann, 79, said: “You can see some people who live here are going down hill, so it is a charity close to our hearts.”
More than £50 was raised on the day.
