A MAN who is in the process of becoming a woman will stand trial in July over the death of a transgender human rights lawyer at Kings Cross station.
Nina Kanagasingham, 34, of Chichele Road, Cricklewood, is charged with murder over the death of David Burgess last October at the station.
The 63-year-old Wood Green lawyer was well-known in the field of human rights, and was dressed as his alter-ego Sonia, when the incident happened.
Ms Kanagasingham is set to stand trial over the death on July 18 at the Old Bailey.
