A BRENT Cross street was the sixth worst for crime in the capital, according to a new website showing the locations of every crime committed.
Prince Charles Drive had 80 crimes committed near to or in it, according to the £300,000 www.police.uk website.
However, the figures have been skewed by the fact the street, which has no homes on it, is right next to Brent Cross Shopping Centre, where many of the incidents actually took place.
Incidents included two robberies, 13 incidents of anti-social behaviour, four violent crime, one vehicle crime and 60 in the category of “other”.
The new site has been designed to show people what is happening in their neighbourhood, but some people fear it will have a detrimental affect on house prices.
The map also shows many reports of anti-social behaviour are coming from council-controlled estates such as Grahame Park .
Lacey Drive in the Stonegrove Estate had 25 reported offences in December, 16 of which were asb, whilst roads close to transport hubs and hospitals also suffer inflated statistics.
For example residential Wellside Close in High Barnet, has 19 reported incidents, but is next door to Barnet Hospital.
