A NORTH Finchley pub is staging a fundraising event today to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.
The Tally Ho pub, in High Road, is hosting the five-piece swing band the Royal Air Force Squadronaires from RAF Northolt, to help the charity which looks after wounded soldiers.
There will also be a silent auction of sport, music and film memorabilia auction items up for grabs, as well as a five star weekend away and a day at the races.
Marianna Brackley, pub manager at The Tally Ho, said: “This event is a great opportunity for members of the community to help raise money for a worthwhile charity.
“There are some fabulous items for sale and we hope that people will come along to support the night, have a good time and help raise some funds for Help for Heroes.”
The event starts from 6pm.
