AN APPEAL for new members to join one of the most “exciting and challenging” youth programs in Potters Bar has been made by the Air Cadets.
The voluntary organisation offer a diverse range of activities from swimming to shooting and gliding to go-karting.
The cadets also help with local events in the community such as the Potters Bar carnival and Remembrance Day services.
Air Cadet member, Nick Wilson, said: “Currently the Potters Bar branch is enjoying one of its most successful periods. And with just over thirty cadets there has never been a better time to join.
“We are a close knit unit who are looking for enthusiastic new cadets to help us improve as a whole.”
Membership to the Air Cadets can also help forge a career in the Royal Air Force or gain new vocational qualifications.
Potters Bar Air Cadets meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.30-9pm at the Ingram Cadet Centre in Mutton Lane.
