FATHER Christmas and his sleigh have been visiting homes in Potters Bar while raising money for charity.
Santa's little helpers, also known as members of the Potters Bar Rotary Club, have been accompanying the man in red on a festive tour, annually held throughout December.
On his first night in town, last Sunday, residents gave generously and helped raise more than £600 for charities both home and abroad.
Rotarian John Godfrey said: “Everyone gave very generously, but it's not all about the money.
“It is a great family event and fun for everyone. There is always a great atmosphere and we hope more people will join us in the coming days.”
Mr Godfrey also said it was a truly multi-faith event with people of all different religions coming out to see Father Christmas and the giant polar bear that helps steer his sleigh.
If Santa misses your home, there will be an opportunity to see him from Tuesday, December 21, to Christmas Eve, in Tesco car park in Mutton Lane.
Charity Christmas cards showing the sleigh both at night and day are also available to buy from John Godfrey at Accident & Repair Centre in High Street.
