THE theft of a charity collection box from a mechanics in Potters Bar has led police to release an image of two women they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
At around 3pm on Thursday December 2, at J Godfrey Accident Repair Centre in High Street, two women entered the reception area before one snatched the box and left.
The collection box was raising money for charities supported by the Potters Bar Rotary Club.
Officers would like to speak with the women pictured in the CCTV images, but have stated it may be that they were witnesses to the crime or can “offer assistance in the investigation”.
