PUPILS from a school in Potters Bar will be singing in a traditional Christmas service next Monday.
Members of the Dame Alice Owen's School choir will feature in the festival of nine lessons and carols, at St Mary's Church in The Walk, starting at 7.30pm.
The Christmas service tells the story of Jesus in nine short Bible readings, interspersed with carols.
Entry is free, with mince pies and hot drinks on offer in the newly renovated church hall after the ceremony.
There will be a collection for charities supported by the school this year.
