A MAN is being hunted by police after indecently assaulting a girl in a Potters Bar park at the end of November.

Two teenage girls were walking in Oakmere Park, in High Street, when a man approached them, talked briefly, and then placed his hands under one of the girl's skirt and touched her.

Police say the girls quickly ran off and it is believed a group of boys in the park called out to the pair.

The incident happened on Thursday, November 25, at 6pm.

Investigating officer, PC Glen Hawkins, said: “I am very keen to speak with the boys who shouted to the girls as they were running as they may have vital information that could assist the investigation.

“I would also be keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have seen the incident take place.”

The offender is described as a black man, aged between 20 and 30, with short black hair and wearing a dark coloured cotton jacket.
