COMMUTERS are being advised to check before travelling after heavy snowfall has disrupted train services at stations in the area.
First Capital Connect has reduced their services on the Thameslink line due to the adverse weather.
A statement on its website confirmed there are two trains per hour from St Pancras to Bedford, which pass through Cricklewood, Hendon and Mill Hill stations.
The statement said: "Due to heavy snowfall overnight there are currently no services on the Brighton or Sutton routes and there is no estimate on when these services will resume.
"Train services between Bedford, London, Sutton and Brighton are being disrupted due to the snowy weather conditions.
"We intend to operate a reduced service in both directions on Thursday and Friday.
"More snow is forecast for the rest of the week and we strongly advise you to check before travelling.
"We also advise that you travel as early as possible as the forecast for lower evening and overnight temperatures may lead to further service problems."
