A YOUNG woman was injured after a motorist allegedly saw red after his car was hit twice during a snowball fight outside a college in North Finchley.
Police believe a group of teenagers were having a snowball fight outside Woodhouse College in Woodhouse Lane when a stray shot hit a passing car just after 11.30am yesterday.
The driver got out to confront the group, but as he went to get back into his car another snowball was thrown inside the vehicle.
It is alleged at this point he got into the car and drove at the group, hitting the girl before ploughing through the railing and across the lawn of the college, causing substantial damage.
The girl was taken to hospital suffering from head and chest injuries, but has since been released.
Police are appealing for some of a large crowd of witnesses to come forward to give evidence about the events.
A 67-year-old man from Potters Bar was arrested and has been bailed until January pending further investigations.
