TWO men on a motorcycle are believed to have been responsible for the murder of a Romanian man in Finchley on Saturday.
The man, named locally as Bogdan 'Tony' Paduret, who was in his 20s, was shot in his car just after 6am outside his home in Tillingbourne Gardens.
Detectives investigating believe the murder was committed by two men on a motorbike, who drove up to the victim and shot him from point blank range.
Ambulances were called to his aid but he was pronounced dead at the scene, and a post mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
Detective Chief Inspector Jacqueline Sebire, of the homicide and serious crime command, who is leading the investigation said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who was near Tillingbourne Gardens at around the time of the murder.
“Despite it being early in the morning this is near to the Holiday Inn on the North Circular Road and it is possible someone may have seen or heard something suspicious but has not spoken to police."
