According to the advertisements placed around the borough by Barnet Council, “Our school’s are amongst the top performing in the country”.
It is hoped they are teaching the correct use of the apostrophe and that all who wrote that sentence or passed it for use, were educated, or rather not educated, in another part of the country.
But I would like to know how many servants of the borough approved it and allowed it to embarrass us all?
