A FAMILY from Potters Bar will be co-hosting a radio breakfast show this Friday after winning a competition to cook with celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson.
The Philips family from Potters Bar joined the famous chef for a master-class in making and decorating the ultimate Christmas Yule log last Tuesday, as part of the Heart Breakfast McCain Family of the Month competition.
Denise and Paul, with their children Chloe, 11, and Amy, 9, won after impressing judges with their entry on the theme of family pride.
Mrs Philips wrote: “We as a family are extremely proud of our cooking because we love a challenge and with four of us in the kitchen at once it can definitely be challenging.
“We all have different tastes and ideas but always come together over omelettes and cupcakes.”
Radio DJ Daniel Fox said: “We love meeting our listeners so we're excited to welcome the Philips family to the show as they join us for the morning. We're really hoping they'll bring some leftovers from their master-class with Antony.”
The Philips will be on the Heart FM breakfast show this Friday morning.
