A CHURCH in Golders Green is hosting a fair to raise money for seven charities in the borough.

Golders Green Unitarians in Hoop Lane is holding the fair on Saturday, December 4, and all proceeds will go to charities including the Family Holiday Association, Oxfam in Temple Fortune, Guide Dogs for the Blind in Hendon, Traidcraft, Overseas Women's Aid, Helping Hands in India and Golders Green Unitarians.

Organiser Richenda Barbour said: “This is a popular annual event which we have hosted for many years now, with the charities each setting out their own stalls. “The event not only benefits our church, but the other good causes as well.”

Entrance to the fair which runs from 10am to 2pm costs 50p per adult and accompanied children can enter for free.

A cooked lunch will be served with refreshments available all day and the church has disabled access.
