A SMOOTH bunch of estate agents from across north London put themselves through extreme pain on the way to raising £10,000 for Noah's Ark Children's Hospices.
Three members of the Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents team entered the Bleinheim Palace Triathlon, consisting of a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride and topped off with a 5km run.
Their pain was overshadowed by seven other male staff who agreed to have their chests waxed, including managing director Simon Gerrard.
He said: “With hindsight maybe the triathlon would have been less painful, but I am delighted that we managed to raise so much for these two very good causes.
“I would like to thank everyone who so generously sponsored us and to all the guys for taking part and a special thank you to Spa Chic of North Finchley for organising the chest waxing”.
However, the pain was worth it as their endeavours netted them nearly £5,000 for the hospice, which helps youngsters with life limiting diseases to enjoy a normal life.
