SEVEN Conservative councillors have refused to have their interests published on Barnet Council's website.
All members were asked to publish their interests, in things like businesses and property, as well as any gifts and hospitality they have received in an online register under new council rules.
Thos opting out include cabinet members Councillors Brian Coleman and Sachin Rajput as well as experienced councillors Joan Scannell and Andreas Tambourides.
New members Daniel Seal, Barry Evangeli and Mark Shooter, a former leadership challenger, make up the rest of the group.
The rest of the 63 members, including council leader Lynne Hillan and every opposition member has allowed their expenses to be published.
Details are also available for independent members of the public who sit on various committees, although three of the 14 have also chosen to keep their records offline.
The public are allowed to view the register of interests, but have to make an advanced appointment to visit North London Business Park to do so.
