CHIPPING Barnet MP Theresa Villiers will be rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck in at two Mitzvah Day events this weekend.
Tomorrow she will be visiting the newly-opened JcoSS School in Barnet where youngsters have been asked to come in wearing gloves, scarves and hats which will be donated to poor people around the world to help them keep warm this winter.
On Sunday she will attend an afternoon with the League of Jewish Women who will be providing entertainment and afternoon tea for residents in nursing home Apthorp Lodge, in Brunswick Park.
She said: “Mitzvah Day is a great event which brings friends and families together to work to benefit their local communities.
“I'm really looking forward to joining pupils at JCoSS and members of the League of Jewish Women over the weekend to lend a hand."
