POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman in Potters Bar.

Officers were called to Oakmere Park in High Street, after a woman walking her dog reported the man to staff around 11.30am earlier today.

The man, who was wearing a green jacket, is described as white, of slim build, and around 6ft tall. Police believe he was performing a sex act on himself at the large tree by the top lake in the park.

Neighbourhood constable PC Graham Hiscock, said: “The woman in this instance absolutely did the correct thing, she alerted staff working in the park, who contacted the neighbourhood team immediately.

“Every incident like this want to know about as soon as possible. Anyone that sees this man, or any similar incident, should call 999.”
