THE Home Secretary attended her first Citizenship Ceremony since taking on the role for the coaliiton government at Hendon Town Hall last week.

Council leader Lynne Hillan and Hendon MP, Mathew Offord were also at the ceremony which Theresa May attended to see how they are conducted.

Deputy Mayor, Lisa Rutter, who conducted the ceremony, said: “We are very privileged that The Home Secretary chose to come and see a Citizenship ceremony at Barnet. She was very impressed.”
