Accident causes congestion on A1 and M1
DRIVERS are advised to avoid the A1 and M1 in Hendon following an accident.
Three cars were involved in the collision, which occurred around 2.30pm at Junction 2 of the M1 northbound, where the motorway meets the A1 and A41.
The slip road was closed, causing severe delays at Fiveways Corner.
A 50-year-old man injured his head and a man aged 30 to 35 injured his neck in the crash.
No arrests have been made.
The slip road is currently being re-opened.
