Man arrested after crashing new Mercedes
A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after smashing a Mercedes he got in May into a crash barrier.
The incident happened just before 10pm on Saturday on the exit slip from the A406 North Circular Road near Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
The road was closed for two hours while fire crews, police and paramedics attended the scene and council repair crews had to clear up leaking oil and repair the barrier on the central reservation.
The man, from Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
No-one was hurt in the crash, involving a silver Mercedes E300.
