With regard to dog attacks in Sunny Gardens Park, it is time the police took this matter far more seriously (‘Police take action after savage dog attacks’, Times Series, June 3).
There are many vicious dog-on-dog attacks all over Barnet parks.
The police and Barnet Council are just not interested. These dogs are often very vicious, albeit owned by well-meaning people.
A vicious dog will not differentiate between an animal and a child walking in its path. The law needs to be changed to make it safe for dog walkers and people walking in parks. I suggest all dogs wear a visible number tag that can be traced back to their owners.
