A STRING of cars were damaged in a “mindless act of vandalism” in Potters Bar last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses after seven cars parked in Mount Grace Road had their wing mirrors smashed or ripped off between 3am and 3.30am on Thursday morning.
Officers said four white teenage boys were seen in the area during the early hours. They were said to be about 14 or 15 years old wearing hooded tops.
PC Graham Hiscock, of Potters Bar Safer Neighbourhood Team, urged anyone with information to contact the police.
He said: “These are mindless acts of vandalism which have caused inconvenience to the owners of these vehicles.
“Enquiries are continuing locally into these damages, however I would like to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen the incidents occur or the young people in the area.”
Anyone with information can call PC Hiscock on 0845 33 00 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
