FAUNA on Stanmore Common includes woodpeckers, tawny owls, cuckoos, weasels, muntjac deer, pipistrelle bats and grass snakes.
This weekend Harrow Nature Conservation Forum is organising a working party on the common to help maintain the site and improve its biodiversity.
All necessary tools will be provided, but bring gardening gloves if you have them. The event is suitable for all ages.
