Treat yourself in style with the opening of a new Maison Blanc Salon de The in Muswell Hill Broadway.
The new patisserie and cafe, which opened on Monday, has attracted a huge amount of interest, and within just one hour of opening their doors, every seat in the spacious Salon de The was packed with customers.
Maison Blanc wsa originally created in 1979 to produce French bread for Raymond Blanc's Oxford restaurant Les Quat' Saisons, importing French flour to guarantee authentic flavour, texture and quality.
The range of products quickly expanded to include viennoiseries, savouries and patisseries. The Salon de The in Muswell Hill is the fifteenth to open in the South East and offers customers the perfect venue to sit, relax and socialise.
Even from the outside, Maison Blanc looks irresistible. The window display can only be described as a work of art, with lavishly decorated gateaux, delicate pastries and miniature cakes with complex, almost architectural toppings.
Inside the shop - which is open seven days a week - there are more French pastries of every description, as well as a range of speciality breads, French chocolates and gifts.
Catering for all types of customer, the family friendly salon serves an exclusive range of speciality tea and coffee, as well as the delicious sweet and savoury pastries.
They also offer a range of 'sandwich gastronomiques' - crusty, French baguette filled with a delicious range of products, such as the classic French ham and emmmental with Dijon mayonnaisem ir the luxurious tiger prawns with sun-blush tomatoes and rocquette.
For special occasions, Maison Blanc can prepare cakes to order in either individual sizes or larger to suit the size of your party. For an autumn treat, why not sample something from their new winter collection.
The gravity-defying gourmandise abricot (a dome of nougat mousse with a spiced apricot gelee centre, coated in a glistening apricot glaze), or perhaps the indulgent versailles (chocolate sponge topped with dark chocolate and orange mousse, with an orange creme brulee in the centre).
For a more zesty choice, dip into a tarte mandarine for a perfect combination of sharp citrus and smooth sweetness. For children, they offer seasonal treats and currently have a range of spooky Hallowe'en treats.
Maison Blanc's special wedding cake service has designed a selection of five special cakes for your big day as an alternative to the traditional cake.
Couples can choose from large tiered cakes in chocolate or milk chocolate mousse, or even individual portions that are dramatically displayed on a tiered stand.
Whether you are planning a decadent afternoon tea at home, need a sophisticated dinner party dessert, or just want to beat those winter blues with an indulgent treat, visit Maison Blanc and let a little every day luxury into your life.
