I would like to thank all the staff at the outpatients' oncology department at the North Middlesex Hospital.

The staff are dedicated, hard-working, friendly and professional but are let down by creaking machines that break down on a daily basis. Once envied by the world, our health service today is in a shambles. Dirty wards, ever growing infection rates and lengthy waiting lists are the hallmarks of Blair's NHS.

We all remember the cry to 'Save the NHS' in 1997, but, eight years on, patients and staff have been let down by Mr Blair.
