The Labour premises in Middle Lane, Crouch End, are once again open to the public every Saturday morning for regular fundraising booksales.
A wide variety of titles is on offer thanks to all the kind donations of books made by members of the public and by Labour members and supporters.
Alongside a large number of novels, non-fiction topics range from art to zen. These are gradually being sorted into categories, but, with more books promised, a plentiful supply of reading material to suit all tastes seems assured.
One of the fundraising appeals is to help replace windows that have been damaged by vandalism, but plans are also moving forward to develop the premises into a weekend drop-in information and advice centre, with Labour volunteers and councillors on hand to give support to the local community.
