The arrival of Painted Lady butterflies attracted the attention of your newspaper some weeks ago.
Well, they’re back and gracing gardens here in Edgware.
I managed to take a close-up photograph of one enjoying a drink of nectar from a buddleia bush at the weekend — you can even see its thirsty tongue going into the petals.
With a bit of imagination, it even has a look of ecstasy on its face.
I do hope you’ll find room to print this photo in your newspaper.
