A 60-YEAR-OLD man was hit by a bus in Potters Bar yesterday.
The man was seriously injured in the collision, which happened at around 6.20pm in Mutton Lane.
The road was closed and re-opened at 11.10pm.
Ambulance, police and fire services were called out, and the man was taken to Barnet Hospital, in Wellhouse Lane, where he is in a serious but stable condition.
Investigating officer PC Ian Breacher said: “The incident took place at quite a busy time when people were on their way home from work, so it is likely a number of people saw it take place.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch as soon as possible."
