Fire badly damages sports pavilion in premier park
A SPORTS pavilion has been damaged in a blaze at a Mill Hill park.
Four fire engines and about 20 firefighters were called to the incident in the single story building in Mill Hill Park, in Wise Lane, at about 4.50am this morning.
Crews from Hendon and Mill Hill attended the scene and had the fire under control by about 6.14am.
Fire officers said the building was “badly damaged” by the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
