POLICE have arrested three men after a cash machine was pulled from the wall of a Golders Green bank.
A grabber lorry, which had a grab-arm on the rear, was used to claw an ATM from the outside of the Barclays Bank in Finchley Road at about 3am this morning.
The machine was placed on the rear of the lorry which then began to drive off.
Detectives from the Flying Squad at Finchley moved in, but the driver of the lorry failed to stop and crashed through various police cordons. Officers also reported having their vehicles rammed by the lorry during a four-mile pursuit across London. Three men, aged 39, 37 and 31 have been arrested in connection with the incident.
