TWO brothers will appear in court today to be sentenced for a string of violent robberies.
Four of the offences committed by brothers Daniel and Matthew Mykoo took place in Barnet last year.
Matthew Mykoo, 27, of Windsor Road, Dollis Hill, was found guilty of seven robberies by a jury at Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday, June 24.
He had previously pleaded guilty to two further robberies in May.
His brother Daniel Mykoo, 28, of Fulham Road, Parson Green, had pleaded guilty to 19 robberies and two vehicle offences in March.
They will both appear at Wood Green Crown Court today for sentencing and will learn of their fate tomorrow.
The brothers usually targeted lone females in affluent areas across London either outside their homes or while walking home.
They attacked from behind, overpowering their victims by grabbing them round the neck and strangling them to the point of unconsciousness, before making off with jewellery and bags.
Both were responsible for robberies in Nether Street, Finchley, and Cricklewood Broadway in June last year.
Daniel Mykoo pleaded guilty to two other offences in Middleway, Hampstead Garden Suburb, in April, and Pattison Road, Hampstead, in June.
They committed a string of other similar offences in affluent areas across the capital, but mainly in Camden.
