I feel it is my duty to inform the electorate of Chipping Barnet that they will not have the opportunity to vent their anger at our MP’s expenses claim at a public meeting.
I, like most people, felt outraged by the expenses scandal and particularly at our own MP Theresa Villiers.
I wrote to the chairman of the Chipping Barnet Conservative Association to inquire about a public meeting.
I was informed that a meeting will take place between Theresa Villiers and the executive of the association.
The agenda and minutes will not be made public. In the correspondence between us, I was patronised and fobbed off.
Is it not time that the people of Chipping Barnet made their voice heard?
