Budding photographers are invited by Barnet Council to capture the people, places and images that make the borough unique.
The best photos that sum up Barnet’s culturally diverse mix are being sought for use on the council’s website and in its publications.
Entrants are asked to explore what makes Barnet special in three different categories: community, people and events; landscape, urban images and green spaces; and “what I like about Barnet”.
First prize for the winning entrant of the ‘Barnet in Focus’ competition will be an iPod Touch.
Leader of the council, Councillor Mike Freer, said: "Barnet is such a fantastically diverse borough, with a vast array of green spaces and interesting buildings that photographers won't be short of subject matter."
The closing date for the competition is May 1. For more information visit barnet.gov.uk/barnetinfocus
