The scheme forms part of a temporary traffic order issued by Harrow Council and could remain in place for up to 18 months, although the works are scheduled to last just over six weeks.
Poonam Pathak, strategic head of traffic, highways and asset management at Harrow Council, said: "The order may be cited as the Harrow (Pinner View) Temporary Traffic Order 2026 and would be operational on 12th October 2026 and would remain in effect for a legal duration of 18 consecutive months or until the completion of the works, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that all the work should be complete by 27th November 2026."
During the works, vehicles will not be allowed to enter or exit Pinner View at its junctions with Headstone Gardens, Kingsfield Avenue, or Cunningham Park.
Additional parking and loading restrictions will be enforced on surrounding roads.
Diversion routes will be in place for drivers travelling northbound and southbound on Pinner View and surrounding roads, including Victor Road, Albert Road, Harrow View, and Parkside Way.
Exceptions to the restrictions will apply for emergency services, vehicles involved in the works, and those needing access to properties within the affected area.
The order will only be enforced while the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, and all restrictions may be lifted at the direction of police or civil enforcement officers.
