A pub landlord says he feels "helpless" after his premises were burgled for the third time in a month "by the same guy".
Thieves again targeted the Brendan the Navigator pub in Highgate in the early hours of last Wednesday (November 28), stealing electronics and more than 30 bottles of spirits.
Landlord John Flynn believes one of the burglars had broken into the pub on November 8 and again on November 16, when thieves smashed a window and made off with spirits and cash.
Since then he has had staff stay in the premises overnight and will only take card payments.
Mr Flynn said: "It's the same guy, the video footage is clear. There's always two of them but one is the same."
Other Highgate pubs, The Charlotte Despard, in Archway Road and The Spoke in Holloway Road, have also been burgled more than once.
The Metropolitan Police are now linking some burglaries but are not releasing CCTV images of the suspects.
The Met previously said there was "insufficient evidence" to investigate a burglary at The Owl and Hitchhiker in Holloway Road.
The Florin in Holloway Road, The Winchester in Archway Road and St John's Tavern in Junction Road are also said to have been impacted.
"We just feel rather helpless," added John. "We've been staffing the place overnight for three weeks.
"Now we're going to have to pay thousands for some high-tech equipment system to try and stop it. It's a huge cost even replacing everything.
"We are an independent pub and with independents the overheads are astronomical. We don't have the clout of big operations. They need to be apprehended, this is not something we can sustain.
"My fear is that unless these guys are apprehended they will get increasing bold and act with impunity."
A Met spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing, led by officers from the Camden and Islington Burglary Investigation Team.
"Additional patrols are in place and officers are in contact with the premises affected."
They said there have been no arrests and that enquiries continue.
