Shocking footage shows a car stranded and a person attempting to stay away from the water of a flooding near Brent Cross Shopping Centre.

Brent Cross Flyover near the A406 North Circular Road and A41 Hendon Way was submerged in water today (November 27).

A yellow warning is in place for rain as Storm Conall batters the UK just days after it was hit by Storm Bert.

Motorists are facing severe delays due to flooded roads and slow traffic.

A video shows a car slowly moving through high waters at the Brent Cross Flyover, next to the Tesco supermarket.

One person is seen stood on a central barrier, surrounded by the flooding.

In another video, a car is seen stranded on the road.

Further on from Hendon Way, one lane is currently closed due to a reported crash northbound at The Vale.

Bus routes 102, 113 and 226 are being diverted from the area.

Elsewhere in London, many other major roads are being shut and affected with severe delays due to the flooding.

Commuters travelling on public transport today have also faced chaos this morning due to the storm.

A "do not travel" warning has been issued following heavy flooding between Blackfriars and London St Pancras International, meaning Thameslink services  are unable to run between St Pancras and London Bridge.

National Rail has also warned that trains on the Elizabeth line will not be able to run “until the end of the day” due to a fault with the signalling system between Abbey Wood and London Paddington.

Storm Conall is the third of the season and was named by the Dutch Weather Service, which along with the Met Office and Met Eireann in Ireland name storms so communication about severe weather is easier.
