A construction worker has won a £20,000 car in an online competition, despite not being able to drive.

Muhamad Alslkhdi, from Harrow, won the Audi A3 Saloon Sport in BOTB's Instant Wins Competition.

He was notified of his win via email before BOTB presenter Christian Williams video-called him to discuss his reaction.

The 25-year-old, who currently does not have a driving licence, said: "I’m so happy.

"This is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me.

"It’s like a dream and I can’t believe it’s real.

"My wife thought I was joking when I told her."

But Muhamad has no driving licence, and originally from Syria, he is considering taking the cash alternative and using it to visit his family.

He said: "The first thing I’m going to do is go and visit my family who I haven’t seen for four years.

"I also want to use it towards getting my driver’s licence and buying myself a small van and some tools to start my own business."

BOTB presenter Christian Williams said: "A huge congratulations to Muhamad for winning this fantastic prize.

"I know he’s only recently started playing BOTB.

"It’s a cracking car, but under the circumstances, I totally understand why he’s planning to go for the cash.

"Having not seen his family in four years, he’s planning a trip for a wholesome reunion, which he’s clearly looking forward to."

BOTB, a leading car competitions company, gives away a dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.

It also offers people the chance to win a holiday, cash, tech, cars, and more in its Instant Wins Competition.

Founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, BOTB has given away £78 million worth of cars so far.
