A family-run French micro-bakery is opening its second shop.

Boulangerie Pierre Alix, known for its artisanal bread and pastries, will open the new store on Holloway Road, Highbury, on November 21.

The bakery, which started in Muswell Hill, promises to bring an authentic French neighbourhood bakery feel to the area, offering fresh coffee, pastries, and a taste of French tradition.

Founder Pierre Alix, who has roots in Normandy, said: "At Boulangerie Pierre Alix, we believe in the simplicity and joy of fresh, handmade food.

"This new location in Holloway Road is an extension of that philosophy—a place where our neighbours can experience the quality and authenticity we’re known for in a relaxed, cosy café setting.

"It’s more than a bakery; it’s a community space."

The bakery will be at 151 Holloway Road, London, near Islington Central Library and Highbury Fields.

During its opening week, the bakery will offer a complimentary coffee with every pastry purchased to the first 100 customers each day.

Customers can meet Pierre and Florence on Saturday and Sunday mornings to hear more about the bakery's story and values.

Boulangerie Pierre Alix Holloway will be open daily from 7.30am.
