A woman has died after a suspected stabbing at a home in Edmonton.
Police were called to reports of an unresponsive woman in Westerham Avenue just before 4.50pm yesterday (October 30).
London Ambulance Service crews also attended and found a woman with apparent stab injuries.
She was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is currently under investigation by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “On Wednesday, 30 October at 16:53hrs police were called to a residential address in Westerham Avenue,N9 following reports of an unresponsive woman at the location.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a woman with apparent stab injuries.
"She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is currently under investigation by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
“Anyone with information that may assist the investigation team is asked to call 101 and quote CAD reference 5420/30OCT24.
“Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers.”
