A mourning mum has been reportedly “crying in her house” for days after a toddler was killed by a car in Wembley.
The two-year-old boy died after a crash in Rowley Close, Alperton, between Wembley and Stonebridge, on Sunday (October 27) at 7.15pm.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.
Neighbours say that he was playing on the front of his drive when he was hit.
One told The Sun: "The toddler was just playing on the drive in front of the car.”
They added: "Everyone in the close can hear the mum crying in her house since it happened."
The Metropolitan Police said that the driver of the car is assisting officers with the investigation and no arrests have been made.
A spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a fatal collision that took place in Rowley Close, Wembley at around 7.15pm on Sunday, 27 October.
“A car was in collision with a two-year-old boy at the location. He was taken to hospital but despite the best efforts of medical staff he sadly died.
“The driver of the car has been spoken to. They have not been arrested.”
