A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Islington.
Officers were called to reports of a man being assaulted in North Road at around 4.45pm today (October 29).
London Ambulance Service crews also attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as non life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquires into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called to North Road in Islington at about 4.45pm on Tuesday, 29 October following reports of a man being assaulted.
"Officers attended and found a man suffering with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains.
"His injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.
"A number of local road closures are in place while officers conduct enquiries.
"No arrests have been made.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is encouraged to call 101 quoting 5413/29Oct.
"Alternatively contact Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111."
