Enfield Council has confirmed details of this year's Remembrance Sunday parades and services.

Residents are invited to attend three parades and wreath-laying events on November 10 in Enfield Town, Edmonton Green, and Southgate.

These events will honour those who lost their lives in the two World Wars and recent global conflicts.

Councillor Gina Needs, Enfield Council's cabinet member for community cohesion and enforcement, said: "I’d like to invite all residents and the wider local community to join us to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, so we can pay our respects to those who paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

"We owe a tremendous debt to all of the brave people who defended our country, and to the armed forces who continue to protect us today and keep us safe from conflict."
