The plea hearing in the case of an alleged fatal hit-and-run crash has been pushed back for a third time as police continue with their investigation.

Cyclist Harry Webb, 27, was injured in Kenworthy Road, Homerton, on the evening of September 10 last year.

He was taken to hospital, but died two days later.

According to court documents, Tiffany Treanor-Johnson, of Bramshaw Road, Homerton, was allegedly driving an Audi involved in the crash and failed to stop at the scene.

She also allegedly failed to stop after causing damage to a red Citroen in the same incident.

The 25-year-old first appeared in court in April charged with two counts of failing to stop after a road accident.

She has since appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court a further two times – once in July and again today (October 28).

The case has been adjourned at each of the three hearings due to the ongoing nature of the police investigation, which is now in its 14th month.

The defendant has been granted unconditional bail to appear at the same court at a later date.

During the brief hearing today, Treanor-Johnson spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.

The case is next due before a judge at the same court on February 3.
