Glide at Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station has been welcoming many keen skaters for some time now at the Glide ice rink.

The Christmas treat is set in front of the iconic building and on the banks of the River Thames all centred around a giant 30ft tall Christmas tree.

Taking place from November 8 until January 5, you do need to buy tickets for Glide at Battersea.

Adult tickets start at £16 per person and children's are £10.50 for those under 12 years old while students will pay from £14.50.

Hampton Court Palace 

One of London's most iconic Christmas ice rinks is in the Tudor setting of Hampton Court Palace.

Set in the courtyard of the palace, fairy lights dazzle around the rink with a giant Christmas tree in the middle of the rink.

25p from the sale of every ticket sold goes towards supporting environmental initiatives with ticket prices starting at £15.65 for children aged three to 12 years old and adults £20.25.

Hampton Court Palace ice rink is open from 22 November 2024, until 5 January 2025.

Somerset House ice rink 

Somerset House ice rink has long been a go-to for ice rinks at Christmas time in London, visited by thousands of skaters every year.

Set in Fountain Court, the focus of the ice rink is traditionally its 40ft Christmas tree along with a line-up of DJs helping track a skate.

Skate at Somerset House kicks off on November 13 and runs until January 12.

Tickets start at £10 for a child and rise to £15 while adults range from £15 to £26.50 each.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland ice rink

Along with its massive Ferris wheel, endless fairground rides, food stalls, Christmas market and much more, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is home to an ice rink.

Next to the Victorian bandstand, the ice rink is reportedly the UK's largest open-air rink of its kind.

Plus, it's accessible for wheelchair users who are also able to go onto the ice rink but motors must be off on electric chairs.
