An “aggressive” man was banned from a supermarket after an altercation with a security guard.
Police were called to reports of a man acting aggressively at Lidl in St Ann’s Shopping Centre in Harrow on Tuesday (September 24) at 1.13pm.
The customer reportedly refused to leave the store after being confronted by a security guard.
When police were called, the man left before officers arrived - but he was later seen and chased down.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “As officers were taking details of the incident from staff at the location, the same male was seen to walk past the store.
"When officers attempted to speak to him he made off, but was detained in Fairholme Road after a short foot chase.”
He was then made to go back to the supermarket, and was slapped with a banning order.
