An elderly man has died after a car crashed into hoardings.
Colney Hatch Lane was closed off last night (September 12) after a car reportedly crashed into advertising hoardings near the Powerleague.
Officers found the driver was unresponsive and helped treat him at the scene before paramedics arrived.
Despite their efforts, the man, in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are working to inform his next of kin and there were no reports of any other injuries.
Enquiries continue to establish if any other vehicles were involved.
