Two teenagers and a 12-year-old boy have been arrested after a spate of burglaries.
The arrests took place just after 9pm yesterday evening (August 21), in Long Lane, Finchley.
The Metropolitan Police says officers spotted a car that had been linked to a number of burglaries in the area, and saw a group run from a home that had been broken into.
The group then tried to flee the scene in the car, before crashing into a police car and trying to make off on foot.
Two 17-year-olds and a 12-year-old boy were subesequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They have been taken to a north London police station where they remain in custody.
A police spokesperson said enquiries into the burglaries are continuing.
